There are different types of Blindness. The one we are most familiar with is physical blindness. A more severe blindness is spiritual blindness. This blindness is caused by the enemy. Jesus is the second person of the God-Head. The Son of God. He is the agent through whom all things were made. In the Gospel of John, it is said that He is the Word. The spoken Word created all things. The worlds were framed by the Word of God, the things that are seen are not made of things which do appear. It is the power of God that brings all things into existence.

Too Blessed to be Stressed

Stress is how we react to outside pressures that will come upon us at any given time. Stress can harm us greatly. There are certain things that we can do to handle stressful situations.  When we feel stressed we should pull back from that situation, take a breath and pray. The Lord does not want us to be overwhelmed with problems. 1 Peter 5:7 says, Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. We should put God first and everything else next.

The Loss of a Loved One

We will experience loss in this life. This life wasn’t given to us to keep. We have been given a gift and we must cherish this gift and to hold it sacred and dear, not for ourselves, but for others.

When we are facing difficult challenges, we must not rely on our own power.  It is not our own power that will get us through the difficulty that we are facing.  We must rely on the power of God in these difficult times.

Love Conquers All

It is with tender loving care that we hold one another close to us.  We must love one another, by this direct action it demonstrates that we follow the Lord Jesus Christ.  It also shows that we have communion with God.  We cannot hate our brother who we have seen and love God whom we have not seen.  Whoever loves God should love his brother also.

Happiness is Conditional

Happiness depends on certain conditions to bring this feeling into reality.  Usually something  good has to come about for happiness to exist.  If the weather is good and the sun is shining, it brings about a good feeling and we are happy about the good weather.  If the weather is bad and it’s raining and we cannot go out and do things we would like to do, we would not be in a good mood and we would be unhappy.  Happiness depends on circumstances.  The temporary condition
