Stability in Christ

The only safe place to be at this point is in Christ. All around us is unstable ground. Things are not as we would hope. But this is the most ideal place for us to be. Because, when we are at our lowest, we must realize that Christ is at His highest. We go through things to make this spiritual journey relevant and to substantiate our relationship with Him. The song says, "If we never had a problem, we would never know that Christ could solve them … we would never know wh

Blindness

There are different types of Blindness. The one we are most familiar with is physical blindness. A more severe blindness is spiritual blindness. This blindness is caused by the enemy. It keeps us from experiencing truth. The truth can only be realized when we have been exposed to the Lord Jesus Christ.
In John’s Gospel, there was a man born blind. This man was blind so that the works of God could be in him. Jesus anointed the blind man’s eyes and told him to go wash. Wh

Jesus is the second person of the God-Head. The Son of God. He is the agent through whom all things were made. In the Gospel of John, it is said that He is the Word. The spoken Word created all things. The worlds were framed by the Word of God, the things that are seen are not made of things which do appear. It is the power of God that brings all things into existence.

Too Blessed to be Stressed
by: Pastor Clay Jackson

Stress is how we react to outside pressures that will come upon us at any given time. Stress can harm us greatly. There are certain things that we can do to handle stressful situations. When we feel stressed we should pull back from that situation, take a breath and pray. The Lord does not want us to be overwhelmed with problems. 1 Peter 5:7 says, Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. We should put God first and everything else next.

The Loss of a Loved One

We will experience loss in this life. This life wasn’t given to us to keep. We have been given a gift and we must cherish this gift and to hold it sacred and dear, not for ourselves, but for others.
We try to be the best we can be so the life we live will not be in vain. We must cherish every moment that we have been blessed with. We must love ourselves so that this love can be passed onto others. We don’t love ourselves selfishly, we love ourselves to the point of

We may find ourselves in one confusing situation after another… it’s called life. We experience turmoil in life, this is what builds character and trust. When we are struggling to find a way out of the situation we are in, it is then that we receive help from the Lord. But we really have to want it. The woman with the issue of blood did not stop or give up, she kept moving until she reached out and touched the hem of His garment. We must never give up. This Christian

After the Resurrection of Jesus and He had gone back to heaven, the disciples decided to go fishing. Jesus stood on the bank of the sea and called to them. When they discovered it was indeed the Lord Jesus they came to the shore with a multitude of fish.
Jesus restores Peter by asking him to feed His sheep. That was the order Jesus gave to Peter, He also gave this order to us. We should be about our Father’s business. We should spread the Word of God to all people. Telli

Depend on Me

We have a tendency not to trust anyone we are not sure about. Trust abides in the heart. It moves us in the direction that we know will be beneficial and safe. When I was very young, not even school age, my great Aunt would send me across the street to borrow sugar, flour etc…we did that in those days. There was a ditch in front of our house and across the ditch was a board. To go across the street would mean to walk across the board. When Ii got to the board my Aun

Fear

We should not be fearful of things that we are not sure about or some future event that has not happened yet. Fear begins on the inside and it’s an expectation of something terrible that might happen. Fear can cause damage to us physically and mentally. When we are afraid, God cannot use us effectively. We may be called to go into different places and minister to those that need to be aware of how much God loves them. We cannot be used by God if we are fearful. We m

Don’t Worry Be Happy

This was a song by Bobby McFerrin, it was a call to not let worries bother us. If we trust God and lean on Him, we should believe that He can and will work things out. We are experiencing so many things in our nation. So many things are causing us to be uneasy about our current situation. It may be dark before dawn, we may walk through the darkness temporarily, but just hold on God 's unchanging hand and He will guide us through these difficult times. Just be patient

Who is He and what is He to You

What is our perception of Jesus? Do we wonder who Jesus really is? Jesus is beyond our limited imagination. We cannot grasp His glory or His power. He has unlimited power and unlimited love for us.
When he walked among us, those who walked with him didn’t fully grasp who He was. He asked them … “Who do men say that I am” … the disciples gave names of prophets they had heard the people say. Then Jesus turned the question back to them … Who do You Say that I Am” … Pe

Strength in the Spirit

When we are facing difficult challenges, we must not rely on our own power. It is not our own power that will get us through the difficulty that we are facing. We must rely on the power of God in these difficult times.
Gideon faced the great Midianite army with only 300 men. We must remember … it is not by might nor by power but by His Spirit. Gideon defeated this army by the Spirit of God. When we are facing difficult situations, we face them with the Spirit of God

Love Conquers All

It is with tender loving care that we hold one another close to us. We must love one another, by this direct action it demonstrates that we follow the Lord Jesus Christ. It also shows that we have communion with God. We cannot hate our brother who we have seen and love God whom we have not seen. Whoever loves God should love his brother also.

Happiness is Conditional
by: Pastor Clay Jackson

Happiness depends on certain conditions to bring this feeling into reality. Usually something good has to come about for happiness to exist. If the weather is good and the sun is shining, it brings about a good feeling and we are happy about the good weather. If the weather is bad and it’s raining and we cannot go out and do things we would like to do, we would not be in a good mood and we would be unhappy. Happiness depends on circumstances. The temporary condition

Tradition and Condition

Our churches have been steeped in the throws of Tradition and Condition … doing things the way we used to do it. Times and people have changed. We don’t do church the same way we used to, we don’t sing songs the way we used to. The challenges of this generation are more complex and intense than it was before. Not only are we combating evil forces, but we are fighting to preserve Christian standards.
I’m of the opinion that if God chooses to reveal Himself to us in a d
