There are different types of Blindness. The one we are most familiar with is physical blindness. A more severe blindness is spiritual blindness. This blindness is caused by the enemy. It keeps us from experiencing truth. The truth can only be realized when we have been exposed to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In John’s Gospel, there was a man born blind. This man was blind so that the works of God could be in him. Jesus anointed the blind man’s eyes and told him to go wash. When he did, he was able to see. Jesus healed the man of his blindness, but he wasn’t sure who healed him. Jesus heard that he was excommunicated from the church and went to him. Jesus asked him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?" He said "Yes!" It was then that the formerly blind man truly began to see at that moment.
